Américo Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Lourosa getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Ramos in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinaldo Ribas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reinaldo Ribas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ramos in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Miguel Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Ribas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Muripi Bebé FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Bessa to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Amorim made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Sebastião Espírito Santo sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Pedro Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Muripi Bebé FC's Reinaldo Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Matos in the 40th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Silva was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, SC Lourosa's Miguel Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaldo Ribas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Muripi Bebé FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastião Espírito Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reinaldo Ribas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
