Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Veiga started the match with the kick off. Lucas Monteiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Passos. Valado FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Branco in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Passos saved Valado FC from getting behind. A collision led to Valado FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Donato Varela hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Valado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Veiga came free, but Ivan Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Valado FC's Geraldo Vasques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Álvaro Dantas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, André Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coucinheira's goalkeeper Álvaro Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Alexandre Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Marques's late challenge caught a Valado FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogério Marques helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Rogério Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alexandre Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraldo Vasques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Álvaro Dantas having to make a save. If Geraldo Vasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Valado FC booed when Coucinheira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Geraldo Vasques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filipe Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Valado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Veiga came free, but Ivan Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rui Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Coucinheira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Veiga couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Geraldo Vasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valado FC's Ivan Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Veiga in the 53rd minute of play. If Rui Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valado FC's Alexandre Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geraldo Vasques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Álvaro Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Vasques in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Álvaro Dantas saved Coucinheira from getting behind. After 72 played minutes Coucinheira got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Pires. In the 77th minute, Rui Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Filipe Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Rui Veiga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivan Passos, passed just outside the right post. Plácido Malheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Plácido Malheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Valado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Plácido Malheiro to maneuver through the defense. Coucinheira's Filipe Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
