Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Alfarazes's Jaime Guarda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugo Morais's late challenge caught a SC Alfarazes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 24 minutes of play, S.L.Eiras's Luís Garcia made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Coimbra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norberto Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Guarda in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Barros during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amado Barros hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Afonso Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lisandro Alves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Afonso Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Garcia having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, SC Alfarazes's goalkeeper Gustavo Coimbra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Alves. 71 minutes into the match, S.L.Eiras's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Guerreiro came free, but Norberto Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Lisandro Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.L.Eiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Garcia having to interfere. S.L.Eiras's Norberto Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Guerreiro in the 89th minute of play. After 97 played minutes S.L.Eiras got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Quaresma. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
