Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amável Oliveira started the match with the kick off. Fábio Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ivan Vilas Boas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abel Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casebres's protests and gave Abel Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Casebres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Antunes to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Varela was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Fábio Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Ornelas charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Ornelas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Casebres's Pedro Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amável Oliveira in the 32nd minute of play. Fábio Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Vilas Boas having to interfere. Rogério Ferro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ivan Vilas Boas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Funcheira's Ivan Vilas Boas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Funcheira from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ivan Vilas Boas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Funcheira:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Casebres:s goal. The referee gave Casebres a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Diogo Ferreira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Funcheira's Ivan Vilas Boas. 3-0. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Casebres! Pedro Anjos had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Severino Seixas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Funcheira getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hermano Noronha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Ferro in the 80th minute of play forced Funcheira's goalkeeper Ivan Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casebres's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Filipe Assis scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Anjos, making the score, 3-1. Fábio Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Funcheira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Casebres.
