Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kevin Lopes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cláudio Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Ricardo Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Nave FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kevin Lopes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Augusto Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Sá got free with Gonçalo Vaz in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Nave FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Raul Mota hit a great ball. The supporters of S.C. Salgueiros booed when Nave FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevin Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Vaz having to interfere. Nave FC's Cláudio Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevin Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After having played for 52 minutes, Ricardo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nave FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eurico Lameirinhas made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Ricardo Garcia sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute Luís Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Vaz having to interfere. Ricardo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonçalo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Lopes in the 80th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Eurico Lameirinhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eurico Lameirinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cláudio Maia's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Lucílio Durães kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Eurico Lameirinhas was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Raul Mota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raul Mota really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When Afonso Torres came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Nave FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Torres couldn't finish the play.
