Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Nogueira made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, S.L.DUDU's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Nogueira came free, but Lisandro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Viriato Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Infante in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.L.DUDU's zone, Carlos Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ferraz came out of the goal and Carlos Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.L.DUDU's goalkeeper Lisandro Ferraz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Ferraz having to interfere. Nuno Resende hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Viriato Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Vaz in the 41st minute of play forced S.L.DUDU's goalkeeper Lisandro Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualter Sobral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Montijo's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Souto came free, but Abel Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Montijo's Abel Azevedo got control of the ball when Nuno Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Souto to make the kick off. Viriato Vaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lisandro Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viriato Vaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Resende hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Montijo's corner Rui Sá fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lisandro Ferraz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th minute, Carlos Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lisandro Ferraz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Montijo's Rui Sá got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Gualter Sobral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.L.DUDU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montijo the free kick. Gualter Sobral hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Lisandro Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Carlos Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Jorge Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.L.DUDU's Homero Maia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Montijo. Carlos Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lisandro Ferraz having to make a save. Viriato Vaz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Montijo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Vaz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Ferraz saved S.L.DUDU from getting behind. After 79 played minutes S.L.DUDU got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Resende. In the 83rd minute Viriato Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Viriato Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, S.L.DUDU's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Nogueira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Carlos Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Souto hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Montijo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
