Lisandro Ferraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Amílcar Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lisandro Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Gustavo Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amílcar Guarda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gustavo Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the SC Campos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Ferreira couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in S.L.DUDU's zone, Amílcar Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Ferraz came out of the goal and Amílcar Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Amílcar Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Campos's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílcar Guarda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Ferraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Campos's Amílcar Guarda got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amílcar Guarda's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Amílcar Guarda charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílcar Guarda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Vicente Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. S.L.DUDU's Vicente Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílcar Guarda in the 52nd minute of the match. If Gustavo Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Nuno Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Ferraz. S.L.DUDU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of SC Campos booed when S.L.DUDU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Sobral didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Souto in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Campos's goalkeeper Inácio Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Souto went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Amílcar Guarda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, S.L.DUDU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Vigário to maneuver through the defense. Amílcar Guarda struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Lisandro Ferraz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Campos. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched S.L.DUDU eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
