Santiago Gago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Fernandes in the 21st minute of play. Virgílio Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Amaro having to interfere. João Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Gago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Santiago Gago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Casconho FC's zone, Virgílio Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Fernandes made a kick off. With his leg Santiago Gago managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Casconho FC's Pedro Cruz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Domingos Porto fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Chapinheira's protests and gave Domingos Porto a yellow card for diving instead. Casconho FC's Raul Borba shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Santiago Gago but with some difficulty. Santiago Gago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Pedro Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Santiago Gago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Casconho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Porto came free, but Sebastião Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Santiago Gago made a huge save. A collision led to Casconho FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Paulo Cruz hit a great ball. Pedro Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in SC Chapinheira's zone, Pedro Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Gago came out of the goal and Pedro Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head.
