Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cândido Pinho started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Cândido Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dércio Diegues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cândido Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gaviaosinho's Cândido Pinho in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADC S.Pedro da Cova's goalie prevented a goal. Cândido Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dércio Diegues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute João Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio Diegues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rafael Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on ADC S.Pedro da Cova's corner Cristiano Teixeira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafael Ribeiro quite easily take care of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Cândido Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dércio Diegues. ADC S.Pedro da Cova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cândido Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mariano Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dércio Diegues having to interfere. When Gaviaosinho's Cândido Pinho in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ADC S.Pedro da Cova's goalie prevented a goal. Rafael Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vilanova in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Vilanova made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Gaviaosinho's João Miranda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dércio Diegues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Zacarias Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Ribeiro was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. If João Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, one of ADC S.Pedro da Cova:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Gaviaosinho a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Óscar Santarém, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ADC S.Pedro da Cova's Dércio Diegues. 0-3. 79 minutes into the match, ADC S.Pedro da Cova's goalkeeper Dércio Diegues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Miranda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Couto in the 81st minute of play forced Gaviaosinho's goalkeeper Rafael Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Gaviaosinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Torres to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Gaviaosinho's Dércio Diegues threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cândido Pinho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tiago Lima's late challenge caught a ADC S.Pedro da Cova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Lima helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gaviaosinho getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tiago Lima hit a great ball. Manuel Vilanova's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Zacarias Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vilanova in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviaosinho's zone, Zacarias Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Ribeiro came out of the goal and Zacarias Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaviaosinho's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
