Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Toco FC's Delfim Freitas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Toco FC's Delfim Freitas got a free kick in the 5th minute. Américo Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cândido Pinho in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Delfim Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delfim Freitas struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Rafael Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toco FC. After 16 minutes of play, Toco FC's Armindo Sousa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Ribeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Miranda in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Américo Correia saved Toco FC from getting behind. Cândido Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Américo Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Cândido Pinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Américo Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armindo Sousa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cândido Pinho took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Correia. Américo Correia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 34th minute of the match Joaquim Pedroso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Américo Correia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 34 played minutes Toco FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Bessa. Armindo Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Ribeiro having to interfere. Toco FC's Delfim Freitas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 49th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cândido Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Delfim Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Assis charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
