Raul Pereiras short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Celso Palha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Colaria FC's Celso Palha threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amílcar Gueifão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Valdeira FC's Celso Palha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Gueifão in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Valdeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Amílcar Gueifão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Palha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lúcio Correia in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Amílcar Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Palha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdeira FC's Celso Palha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Gueifão in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Raul Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Palha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 40 minutes, Raul Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colaria FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdeira FC's Celso Palha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Gueifão in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Raul Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hildeberto Pessoa to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Valdeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amílcar Gueifão came free, but Celso Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Valdeira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hildeberto Pessoa to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Valdeira FC defense, Raul Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Palha. The Valdeira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Palha should have stopped the shot. Amílcar Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Palha having to interfere. If Hildeberto Pessoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Valdeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Pereira came free, but Celso Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Palha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amílcar Gueifão in the 74th minute of play. The Valdeira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Palha should have stopped the shot. Valdeira FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
