Colaria FC's João Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Borges in the 3rd minute of play. Raul Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hildeberto Cabral having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Pereira in the 17th minute of play forced ADERM's goalkeeper Hildeberto Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ADERM getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rodolfo Serpa hit a great ball. Anselmo Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ADERM's Anselmo Falcão got a free kick in the 24th minute. Hildeberto Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Gueifão in the 29th minute of play forced ADERM's goalkeeper Hildeberto Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílcar Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Raul Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hildeberto Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th match minute, ADERM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermes Porto to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hildeberto Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Raul Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Colaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Pereira couldn't finish the play. Maurício Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. João Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Xavier Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colaria FC's protests and gave Xavier Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Colaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Domingues to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maurício Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. Raul Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hildeberto Cabral having to interfere. Vasco Pinto succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 65 played minutes ADERM got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Falcão. Hildeberto Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Gueifão, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Amílcar Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, ADERM's goalkeeper Hildeberto Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Pereira. The supporters of Colaria FC booed when ADERM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hildeberto Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Pereira in the 78th minute. Raul Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, ADERM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Laureano to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd of the match, Amílcar Gueifão tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Hildeberto Cabral got in the way and made a wonderful save. João Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amílcar Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hildeberto Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colaria FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amílcar Gueifão in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hildeberto Cabral saved ADERM from getting behind. In the 91st minute Vasco Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ADERM had won after a very even match.
