Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Normando Pádua might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angélico Bernardes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Normando Pádua ran back to his position shaking his head. Britelos's Adão Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Pádua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angélico Bernardes having to interfere. Sálvio Antas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Amado in the 20th minute of play. If Normando Pádua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Adão Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angélico Bernardes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Amado in the 65th minute of play forced Britelos's goalkeeper Sálvio Antas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saúl Amado took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sálvio Antas. Sálvio Antas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Vicente Vilas Boas fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calvelhe's protests and gave Vicente Vilas Boas a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Vilas Boas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
