Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Rocha kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Lisboa got free with Catarino Torres in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Catarino Torres made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Joel Lisboa sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Branco in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Jorge Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fusion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fusion's Jorge Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cristiano Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Romas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Rocha couldn't finish the play. Rui Freitas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Lisboa during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Joel Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fusion getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alexandre Nogueira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Figueiredo in the 31st minute of play forced Romas FC's goalkeeper Rafael Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Fusion's Jorge Branco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viriato Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Romas FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Amílcar Castro hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes in the game Lúcio Maia did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Freitas. Daniel Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rafael Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Branco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Fonseca having to make a save. Jorge Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rafael Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Daniel Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fusion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romas FC the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Fusion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Freitas to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Romas FC's Rafael Fonseca got control of the ball when Jorge Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Lisboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Catarino Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Rocha in the 80th minute of the match. If Joel Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Freitas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Fonseca. That made the score 0-1 in the 91 minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Fusion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Catarino Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Rocha in the 95th minute of the match. Fusion played a much better game than Romas FC and deserved their victory. The Romas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
