Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Moreira got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Moreira in the 5th minute of play forced Supegal's goalkeeper Adelino Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Paião kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Adelino Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Moreira in the 9th minute of play. Augusto Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Amaro having to interfere. Germano Pestana hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Vieira in the 20th minute of play forced Trafaria FC's goalkeeper Julião Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Moisés Ribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Augusto Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Trafaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Moreira couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, António Paião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Supegal's Sérgio Andrade shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julião Cruz but with some difficulty. Adelino Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Ávila in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Supegal's zone, Fábio Ávila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Amaro came out of the goal and Fábio Ávila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Supegal's goal looked a bit too open when Gusmão Moita came free, but Adelino Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Supegal got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Valente. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Fábio Ávila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trafaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Ávila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Laurentino Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Trafaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurentino Vieira couldn't finish the play. Adelino Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Ávila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Alberto Vieira made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Supegal got a freekick which was hit by Marco Barbosa. Emílio Carneiro's late challenge caught a Trafaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Emílio Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Fábio Ávila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adelino Amaro. The goal made the score 0-1. Alberto Vieira struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Julião Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Supegal. In the 65th minute, Alberto Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 67 played minutes Trafaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Moreira. Supegal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sérgio Andrade in the 69th minute. The corner ended in André Neves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trafaria FC's Julião Cruz did a great save. Fábio Ávila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Amaro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trafaria FC's João Campelo got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Alberto Vieira came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Supegal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Vieira couldn't finish the play. Joel Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Amaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Ávila in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Supegal's Fábio Valente got a free kick in the 91st minute. With a little luck, Supegal's Adelino Amaro got control of the ball when Fábio Ávila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adelino Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gusmão Moita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. At last the ball reached Gusmão Moita at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Supegal. 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trafaria FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
