Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Júlio Pereira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Humberto Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Alcofra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tocha FC the free kick. A collision led to SC Alcofra getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Humberto Faria hit a great ball. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Alcofra! 10 minutes into the match, Tocha FC's goalkeeper Nuno Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Fernandes. If Joaquim Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Cardoso having to interfere. Nuno Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Humberto Faria sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Miranda in the 19th minute of play forced SC Alcofra's goalkeeper Filipe Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Azevedo having to interfere. Nuno Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Faria in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, Tocha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Gomes to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, SC Alcofra got a penalty, and Albertino Macedo placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. When Abel Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tocha FC's protests and gave Abel Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tocha FC's Abel Gomes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Oliveira Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tocha FC and the SC Alcofra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Oliveira Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Alcofra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albertino Macedo in the 37th minute. After 43 played minutes Tocha FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Gomes. SC Alcofra's Emanuel Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Baptista made a kick off. The supporters of SC Alcofra booed when Tocha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Azevedo having to interfere. If Humberto Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Joaquim Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tocha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Júlio Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tocha FC booed when SC Alcofra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Joaquim Miranda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 79 minutes into the game, SC Alcofra's Cristiano Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Tocha FC's Oliveira Nascimento got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Oliveira Nascimento off the ground. Oliveira Nascimento hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match SC Alcofra got a corner. Tocha FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albertino Macedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Joaquim Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
