Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 11th minute Duarte Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Álvares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, António Ponte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucílio Frois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tomás Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ratos FC's Joaquim Palha got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ratos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Mendes was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Pouzadinhas's players had a chance to rest. Tomás Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Palha, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Duarte Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gil Álvares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Fontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Álvares having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Ratos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Fontes came free, but Gil Álvares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Duarte Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gaspar Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SC Pouzadinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Fontes couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Duarte Miranda made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SC Pouzadinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Palha came free, but Tomás Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Ricardo Morais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentim Cordeiro during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Palha in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ratos FC's Gil Álvares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Fontes in the 69th minute of play.
