Duarte Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eusébio Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Fontes hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, SC Pouzadinhas's Duarte Miranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eusébio Ferro. Eusébio Ferro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 21 minutes, Gabriel Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.D.VILAR and the SC Pouzadinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gaspar Fontes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eusébio Ferro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eusébio Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ricardo Morais fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pouzadinhas's protests and gave Ricardo Morais a yellow card for diving instead. Diogo Amaral made a great header on G.D.VILAR's corner, it was just that SC Pouzadinhas's Tomás Rocha managed to reach the ball for a save. 33 minutes into the match, G.D.VILAR's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Miranda came free, but Eusébio Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Sá in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, G.D.VILAR's Eusébio Ferro got control of the ball when Augusto Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Eusébio Sá came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the G.D.VILAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Sá couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Eusébio Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Miranda in the 45th minute of play forced G.D.VILAR's goalkeeper Eusébio Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After a rather tough play, SC Pouzadinhas's Ricardo Morais got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tomás Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Duarte Miranda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio Ferro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Alexandre Leite took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Rocha. SC Pouzadinhas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ricardo Morais got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 68 played minutes SC Pouzadinhas got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Morais. Eusébio Sá in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Rocha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eusébio Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 78 in the game by Eusébio Sá from a close distance when the talented Tomás Rocha managed to make a qualified save. SC Pouzadinhas's players were relieved. After 86 played minutes SC Pouzadinhas got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Mendes. The crowd rose to their feet as Eusébio Sá kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomás Rocha. That made the score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
