The supporters of Campelos FC booed when C.R. Vasco da Gama MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Sylwester Majkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.R. Vasco da Gama MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Majkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of C.R. Vasco da Gama MZ booed when Campelos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cândido Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Filipe Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Campelos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Majkowski came free, but Álvaro Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Campelos FC's Álvaro Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Majkowski in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Campelos FC's zone, Sylwester Majkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Setúbal came out of the goal and Sylwester Majkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Sylwester Majkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Óscar Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Álvaro Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sylwester Majkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Campelos FC's zone, Sylwester Majkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Setúbal came out of the goal and Sylwester Majkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Óscar Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Álvaro Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipe Pacheco made a kick off. Alberto Trindade hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Filipe Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Campelos FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Filipe Pacheco hit a great ball. Campelos FC's Filipe Pacheco got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Filipe Pacheco off the ground. In the 58th minute, Filipe Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campelos FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Setúbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Simões during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Campelos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Neto to maneuver through the defense. Cândido Neto scored 2-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Pinheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of C.R. Vasco da Gama MZ booed when Campelos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Majkowski in the 88th minute of play forced Campelos FC's goalkeeper Álvaro Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Majkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Campelos FC's zone, Óscar Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Setúbal came out of the goal and Óscar Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.R. Vasco da Gama MZ's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Campelos FC had won, even though C.R. Vasco da Gama MZ had held more of the ball.
