Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Castro made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Júlio Leal sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Miguel Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Melo in the 14th minute of play forced Fridao's goalkeeper Armando Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xavier Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Óscar Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Xavier Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fridao getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Armindo Freitas hit a great ball. Xavier Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Nuno Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Assis was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Júlio Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Armando Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Júlio Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fridao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Almograve FC's Miguel Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Leite in the 43rd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Leite made a kick off. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Miguel Leite sped through Almograve FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Castro. Júlio Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Castro having to interfere. Nuno Melo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Armando Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almograve FC. 71 minutes into the game, Almograve FC's Xavier Coelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Assis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Emanuel Moutinho hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Miguel Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Miguel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, Almograve FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Leite came free, but Miguel Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emanuel Moutinho fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almograve FC's protests and gave Emanuel Moutinho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fridao booed when Almograve FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Moutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Fridao were awarded a corner. Armindo Moreira went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Armindo Moreira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Castro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Armando Assis came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Almograve FC's Xavier Coelho. But to his dismay, Xavier Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Armindo Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armindo Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armindo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Almograve FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
