Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Veiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alberto Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Carvalho having to interfere. Castro FC's Armando Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Coimbra in the 6th minute of play. Inácio Nogueira's late challenge caught a Gondoriz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Castro FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Nogueira. In the 13th minute, Rogelio Aurre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gondoriz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Gondoriz's goalkeeper José Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Brito. After a rather tough play, Castro FC's Afonso Brito got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Rogelio Aurre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Carvalho. Castro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Aurre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Castro FC's zone, Vítor Coimbra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Carvalho came out of the goal and Vítor Coimbra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duarte Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Leite in the 32nd minute of play forced Gondoriz's goalkeeper José Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Gondoriz got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Andrade. Gondoriz's José Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Gondoriz from getting a goal against them. José Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. José Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes, Castro FC's Eusébio Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper José Rodrigues came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castro FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Coimbra in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Castro FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eusébio Gomes hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Hugo Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Gondoriz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
