Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Veiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Piratas do Mar getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tiago Assunção hit a great ball. Bruno Leal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Diogo Pacheco. With a little luck, Piratas do Mar's Bruno Leal got control of the ball when Afonso Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, Castro FC's Afonso Brito made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Alves's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Hugo Veiga took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bruno Leal to make any attempt to save it. In the 20th minute of the match Eusébio Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Leal skillfully saved the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Hélder Alves notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Castro FC's Armando Carvalho. Armando Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Leal was a little too slow when Hugo Veiga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-1. José Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Rafael Valente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piratas do Mar's Bruno Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Hugo Veiga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 38th minute, José Coimbra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piratas do Mar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 43 minutes into the match, Piratas do Mar's goalkeeper Bruno Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Brito. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélder Alves was the one to do the kick off. Luís Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Carlos Assunção fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castro FC's protests and gave Carlos Assunção a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Castro FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Assunção. Bruno Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Veiga in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Piratas do Mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Assunção to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Castro FC booed when Piratas do Mar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Hugo Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Hugo Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bruno Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Afonso Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
