Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Varela took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rodrigo Fidalgo charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Fidalgo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Evandro Quirino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heitor Mendes's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 6th match minute, Chourico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusmão Vidigal to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, António Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montezinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chourico FC the free kick. A collision led to Montezinho getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. António Amorim hit a great ball. António Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Evandro Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chourico FC's Evandro Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Mendes in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Montezinho getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. António Amorim hit a great ball. If Heitor Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Montezinho booed when Chourico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, António Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Evandro Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Chourico FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Montezinho were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heitor Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. António Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Quirino having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Heitor Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evandro Quirino. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. Heitor Mendes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Evandro Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montezinho. After having played for 62 minutes, António Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montezinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lourenço Trigueiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Montezinho's Rui Assis got a free kick in the 65th minute. Vasco Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Varela in the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Montezinho's zone, Lourenço Trigueiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Castro came out of the goal and Lourenço Trigueiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vasco Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Trigueiro in the 81st minute of play. If Heitor Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Viana during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chourico FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alberto Viana hit a great ball. Heitor Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evandro Quirino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delfim Antunes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 95 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Montezinho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
