A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 13th minute, SC Penedones's Nicolau Sequeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adelino Borba. Adelino Borba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Afonso Castro had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 17 played minutes SC Penedones got a freekick which was hit by David Pinhal. 19 minutes into the match, SC Penedones's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Antunes came free, but Vivaldo Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Lopes struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Vivaldo Aires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jugaria FC. Filipe Antunes struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. When Filipe Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Jugaria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Antunes couldn't finish the play. Vivaldo Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico Belém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Adelino Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Eurico Belém made the kick off in the second half. Filipe Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vivaldo Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Aires having to interfere. Nicolau Sequeira charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolau Sequeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Filipe Antunes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vivaldo Aires. That made the score 2-1 in the 82 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Belém in the 90th minute of play forced Jugaria FC's goalkeeper Adelino Borba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Filipe Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jugaria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vivaldo Aires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vivaldo Aires made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Filipe Antunes sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, SC Penedones could leave the field as winners, despite Jugaria FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
