In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guardao FC's goalkeeper Isidro Reis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidro Reis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Araújo went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Éder Pestana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Reis was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. When Cláudio Carvalheira came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Guardao FC fans jumped to their feet. But to his dismay, Éder Pestana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Argande FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guardao FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
