Carsten Eiting might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carsten Eiting ran back to his position shaking his head. After 35 minutes, Alfredo Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the os torradas and the Mirage FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Saúl Ramires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Nemesio Sazon scored 1-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jaime Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Sazon to make the kick off. Álvaro Brites hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mirage FC's Jaime Carneiro got control of the ball when Carsten Eiting tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emílio Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saúl Ramires, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Emílio Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Ramires in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, os torradas's Nemesio Sazon got a free kick in the 74th minute. Mirage FC's Jaime Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Sazon in the 90th minute of play.
