Gonçalo Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vicente França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Pires in the 10th minute of the match. Manuel Carreira kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Vicente França didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonçalo Pires went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rogério Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Valdoia's Albertino Moniz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Valdoia from getting a goal against them. Jaime Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gonçalo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Valdoia booed when SC Maceira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente França having to interfere. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jaime Almeida sped through SC Maceira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vicente França. After 42 played minutes Valdoia got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Leiria. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-2 when João Salazar sped through Valdoia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albertino Moniz.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matias Borba hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Manuel Carreira kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The long shot by Rui Costa in the 57th minute really tested Vicente França's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 1-3 became the score in the 63rd minute when Gonçalo Pires elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 69th match minute, Valdoia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Torres to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Moniz came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Maceira's Matias Borba. But to his dismay, Matias Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Jaime Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matias Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Valdoia got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Torres. Matias Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Albertino Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Valdoia booed when SC Maceira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Gusmão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, João Salazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertino Moniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Despite being the better team, Valdoia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
