Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delfim Castro started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes SC Alte got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Ramos. SC Alte's Joaquim Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Luís Pacheco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Alte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macas the free kick. A collision led to SC Alte getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Luís Pacheco hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Armando Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Alte's Francisco Ferro tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match, Delfim Castro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Martins saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hugo Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Paredes's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Diogo Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Alte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macas the free kick. The supporters of Macas booed when SC Alte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute Joaquim Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hugo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Alte's Diogo Oliveira got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Castro in the 66th minute of play forced SC Alte's goalkeeper Manuel Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Armando Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Martins. SC Alte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Paredes got free with Hugo Azevedo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, SC Alte's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Castro came free, but Manuel Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Alte! If Delfim Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Lopes scored 2-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Armando Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Macas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Lopes couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Macas had won after a very even match.
