José Amaral's late challenge caught a OPERARIO CD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Lograsso's José Amaral got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute of the match Jorge Brás shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Dantas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Cristiano Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Lucas Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Eusébio Torres made a precise shot to the right of António Dantas. SC Lograsso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Adolfo Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Cândido Guerreiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cândido Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. OPERARIO CD's Cândido Guerreiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save OPERARIO CD from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, Rui Anjos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OPERARIO CD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lograsso the free kick. The supporters of SC Lograsso booed when OPERARIO CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Anjos didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Torres's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Cândido Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Marques in the 47th minute of the match.

Jorge Brás took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for António Dantas. SC Lograsso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Miguel Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OPERARIO CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Eusébio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Dantas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Lograsso's zone, Diogo Moniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Dantas came out of the goal and Diogo Moniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cândido Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Queirós in the 64th minute of the match. Jorge Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When Eusébio Torres, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The António Dantas was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cândido Guerreiro came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Lograsso's José Amaral. But to his dismay, José Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 77 minutes into the game, SC Lograsso's Adolfo Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cândido Guerreiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Albertino Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. António Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OPERARIO CD's Cândido Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Carvalho in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, SC Lograsso's Adolfo Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cândido Guerreiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the SC Lograsso players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
