Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Laureano Anjos got the match started through his kick off. Fernando Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Anjos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Zeferino Ramires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gontinho FC the free kick. Zeferino Ramires hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Diamantino Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Roriz having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Paulo Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gontinho FC's Diamantino Amorim got a free kick in the 17th minute. Laureano Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Laureano Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Figueiredo, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paulo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeferino Ramires in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Nascimento, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute Laureano Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Vaz in the 39th minute of play forced Tuias's goalkeeper Tomás Roriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Paulo Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Roriz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, Gontinho FC's Paulo Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Roriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Laureano Anjos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuias's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Anjos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Roriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Carneiro in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tuias's goalkeeper Tomás Roriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulo Carneiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomás Roriz. That made the score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. Nuno Vaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Roriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Tuias's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vicente Miranda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Caetano Bento's late challenge caught a Gontinho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Bento helped the player get up and apologised. Laureano Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeferino Ramires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fernando Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Abel Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Carneiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Roriz having to make a save. When Paulo Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Gontinho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Carneiro couldn't finish the play. 98 minutes into the game, Gontinho FC's Nuno Vaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Roriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gontinho FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
