Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vicente Jesus got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, SC Balancho's goalkeeper Diogo Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Andrade. Vicente Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Ramos having to interfere. Nuno Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Abel Andrade fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Diogo Ramos, passed just outside the right post. SC Cantomil's Vicente Jesus got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SC Cantomil booed when SC Balancho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Andrade in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diogo Ramos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, SC Balancho's Diogo Ramos got control of the ball when Abel Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SC Balancho getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eduardo Dias hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Balancho's zone, Vicente Jesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Ramos came out of the goal and Vicente Jesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vivaldo Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Afonso Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vivaldo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Afonso Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Leal took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vivaldo Porto. Vivaldo Porto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The SC Cantomil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Balancho were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. Afonso Amaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vivaldo Porto having to make a save. Joaquim Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vivaldo Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Andrade struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Diogo Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cantomil. After having played for 62 minutes, Abel Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cantomil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Jesus in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Cantomil getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hermes Vidigal hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Balancho booed when SC Cantomil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Patrício didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
