Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio Nogueira in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Rebelo in the 29th minute. Joel Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Taveira in the 34th minute of the match. Osvaldo Rebelos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Joel Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Lordemão United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. João Borges hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Alexandre Alcântara fired a really elegant long shot, but Joel Magalhães threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Osvaldo Rebelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Rebelo in the 53rd minute of play. Fabiano Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Itzaina in the 56th minute. When Ariel Itzaina came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Lordemão United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Itzaina couldn't finish the play. Abrema FC's Fabiano Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Abrema FC from getting a goal against them. Ariel Itzaina hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Lordemão United's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Rebelo came free, but Joel Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Taveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Magalhães having to interfere. In the 95th minute Osvaldo Rebelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lordemão United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
