Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xavier Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Vítor Moita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Azevedo in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Marchicao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Azevedo came free, but Vítor Moita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Xavier Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vítor Moita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 22nd minute, but Francisco Fonseca got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving A.A.C.S.C. hanging dry this time. When Humberto Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the A.A.C.S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Nunes couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, André Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Moita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Azevedo in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Nogueira in the 29th minute of play forced Marchicao FC's goalkeeper Vítor Moita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marchicao FC's Vítor Moita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Nunes in the 37th minute of play. Vítor Moita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Azevedo in the 41st minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Sebastião Nogueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marchicao FC's Vítor Moita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 44 minutes of play, A.A.C.S.C.'s Sebastião Nogueira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Moita was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half A.A.C.S.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Marchicao FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xavier Azevedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sebastião Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vítor Moita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Nogueira got free with Vítor Moita in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavier Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Moita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Azevedo in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Xavier Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Moita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Marchicao FC's goalkeeper Vítor Moita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Nogueira. Rui Magalhães hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Azevedo in the 81st minute of play forced Marchicao FC's goalkeeper Vítor Moita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.A.C.S.C.'s Xavier Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 minutes, Salvador Madureira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marchicao FC and the A.A.C.S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Marchicao FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Madureira. Vítor Moita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Azevedo in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Marchicao FC's goalkeeper Vítor Moita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Nogueira. Thanks to some nice moves Sebastião Nogueira could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Vítor Moita however easily saved by the left post. Xavier Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Moita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavier Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. A.A.C.S.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
