Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Vaz started the match with the kick off. Miguel Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fradilhao FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rui Amorim hit a great ball. If Cássio Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Miguel Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If João Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Vaz in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Miguel Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fradilhao FC's Paulo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Mota in the 20th minute of play. Paulo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Palmeira in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gregorios FC's goalkeeper Inácio Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Leite having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Palmeira in the 31st minute of play forced Fradilhao FC's goalkeeper Paulo Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorios FC's Miguel Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Madureira placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Pedro Vaz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Inácio Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fradilhao FC. 41 minutes into the match, Gregorios FC's goalkeeper Inácio Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Paredes. Cássio Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Palmeira in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Leite saved Fradilhao FC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Fradilhao FC's zone, Cássio Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Leite came out of the goal and Cássio Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gregorios FC's Miguel Palmeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Leite. That made the score 0-1 after 55 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Mota got free with Paulo Leite in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute Miguel Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gregorios FC booed when Fradilhao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Miguel Palmeira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paulo Leite, passed just outside the right post. Miguel Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Paulo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, João Paredes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Inácio Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulo Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cássio Mota struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Paulo Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gregorios FC. 82 minutes into the match, Gregorios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Vaz came free, but Inácio Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Pedro Vaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 92 minutes into the game, Nuno Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fradilhao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gregorios FC the free kick. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gregorios FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Afonso Rodrigues was slow to take the kick. During this time Fradilhao FC's players had a chance to rest. Afonso Rodrigues made a great header on Fradilhao FC's corner, it was just that Gregorios FC's Inácio Leal managed to reach the ball for a save. Fradilhao FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
