Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adelino Manso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Benfica do Minho's goalkeeper Hermano Moita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Paredes. 6 minutes into the match, Benfica do Minho's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Vaz came free, but Hermano Moita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Fradilhao FC's Pedro Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermano Moita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Benfica do Minho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Ramires to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Rodrigues, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 17th match minute, Fradilhao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, João Paredes took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hermano Moita to make any attempt to save it. Zacarias Alvarenga's late challenge caught a Fradilhao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Alvarenga helped the player get up and apologised. Benfica do Minho's Hermano Moita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Benfica do Minho from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Benfica do Minho's goalkeeper Hermano Moita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zacarias Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedro Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Henriques lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Vaz to make the kick off. Benfica do Minho's Hermano Moita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Vaz in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Vaz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermano Moita saved Benfica do Minho from getting behind. Benfica do Minho's Hermano Moita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paredes in the 54th minute of play. Afonso Rodrigues charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Rodrigues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Benfica do Minho booed when Fradilhao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Vaz scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermano Moita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Leal's late challenge caught a Benfica do Minho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Leal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Nuno Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedito Ramires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Leite having to interfere. Xavier Sousa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Leite. Fradilhao FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Zacarias Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Benfica do Minho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Benedito Ramires might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedito Ramires ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Benfica do Minho's zone, João Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermano Moita came out of the goal and João Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Fradilhao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Antunes to maneuver through the defense. If João Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermano Moita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Paredes went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Fradilhao FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
