Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gusmão Couto made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Veríssimo Alcântara got free with Rafael Sabrosa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gil Lemos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amável Vilhena having to interfere. Tobias Monteiro hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Logocem's zone, Gusmão Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amável Vilhena came out of the goal and Gusmão Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Logocem's Amável Vilhena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Lemos in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Veríssimo Alcântara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cabo Mor's Rafael Sabrosa. Rafael Sabrosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgar Quaresma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amável Vilhena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusmão Couto in the 27th minute of the match. When Cabo Mor's Gil Lemos in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Logocem's goalie prevented a goal. Logocem's Amável Vilhena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Lemos in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cabo Mor's Amadeu Veiga got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience cheered loudly when Domingos Vasques's long shot in the 38th minute became 2-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Rafael Sabrosa. If Edgar Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Logocem's Veríssimo Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Quaresma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Logocem's Amável Vilhena got control of the ball when Gil Lemos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edgar Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Quaresma might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Sabrosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Quaresma ran back to his position shaking his head. Logocem's Edgar Quaresma got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Logocem's Amável Vilhena got control of the ball when Gil Lemos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Sabrosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veríssimo Alcântara in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gusmão Couto in the 85th minute of play forced Logocem's goalkeeper Amável Vilhena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amável Vilhena made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gil Lemos sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Quaresma in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Sabrosa saved Cabo Mor from getting behind. There was no doubt that Logocem were the better team. Logocem's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
