Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Logocem's Hélio Leal got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Luís Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Logocem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Ver the free kick. The supporters of SC Ver booed when Logocem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, José Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amável Vilhena. Logocem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Edgar Quaresma elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hugo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Ver booed when Logocem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Hugo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ver's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Logocem's goalkeeper Amável Vilhena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Logocem's goal looked a bit too open when José Ferreira came free, but Amável Vilhena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Ver's Jorge Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Ver from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Alberto Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amável Vilhena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, SC Ver's Hugo Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amável Vilhena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Hugo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Logocem getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Frederico Cordeiro hit a great ball. Hugo Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Hugo Silva lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Amável Vilhena. A collision led to SC Ver getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Afonso Coimbra hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Neto during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Veríssimo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
