Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlos Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luís Assunção blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teófilo Cordeiro having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Heitor Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augusto Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Esteves in the 16th minute of the match. David Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Augusto Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Maia struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Teófilo Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogege. If Luís Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teófilo Cordeiro having to interfere. Geraldo Reis's late challenge caught a Mogege's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geraldo Reis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mogege booed when SC Sabugos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Domingos Almeida sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Sabugos's Teófilo Cordeiro didn't even have to move. Teófilo Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mogege's goalkeeper couldn't reach when David Camargo 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Camargo to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Luís Assunção ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teófilo Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mogege's Augusto Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Moita in the 59th minute of play. Carlos Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mogege booed when SC Sabugos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute David Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Teófilo Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Sabugos getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Geraldo Reis hit a great ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Carlos Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogege's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Maia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Sabugos's goalkeeper Teófilo Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mogege's Luís Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nuno Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teófilo Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Maia in the 92nd minute of play. Augusto Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Camargo in the 95th minute of play. Mogege were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
