Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raimundo Regueira made the kick off which started today's match. Rodrigo Moutinho struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Hugo Maltez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acores. 12 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Moutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leirosa FC the free kick. Rodrigo Moutinho hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Acores's zone, José Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Fernandes came out of the goal and José Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Moutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Hugo Maltez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Acores's Sebastião Coelho got a free kick in the 21st minute. José Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fernandes having to interfere. In the 25thth minute of the game Raimundo Regueira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acores's Gil Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo Regueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fernandes having to interfere. Sebastião Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Moutinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Leirosa FC's zone, Rodrigo Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Regueira in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Acores getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sebastião Coelho hit a great ball. Gil Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Regueira in the 59th minute of the match. If Joaquim Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hugo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Moutinho in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Leirosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Vilhena to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Maltez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. When Rodrigo Moutinho came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Acores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Moutinho couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Acores getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nuno Branco hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Raimundo Regueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leirosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Regueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rodrigo Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acores's Rodrigo Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joaquim Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 minutes of play, Acores's Joaquim Neves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Maltez was left in no man's land by his defense there!
