Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hilário Freitas got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Fiães F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Moutinho came free, but Gregório Lemos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Amaro charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Amaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Moutinho in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregório Lemos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Acores's Gil Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Acores from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilário Freitas in the 21st minute of play forced Acores's goalkeeper Gil Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Acores's José Domingues got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute of the match Fiães F.C got a corner. Acores's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hélder Taborda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fiães F.C's Hélder Taborda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gil Fernandes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 29 minutes, José Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acores and the Fiães F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Acores got a freekick which was hit by José Domingues. After a defensive mix-up in Fiães F.C's zone, Rodrigo Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregório Lemos came out of the goal and Rodrigo Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joaquim Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Hélder Taborda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hilário Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Fernandes having to interfere. Amílcar Malta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gil Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Fiães F.C's Cândido lago got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquim Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gregório Lemos. That made the score 0-1 in the 76 minute of play. Joaquim Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gregório Lemos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Gregório Lemos made a huge save. In the 97th minute Rodrigo Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregório Lemos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Acores left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fiães F.C.
