In the 12th minute Oliveira Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliano Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliano Trindade having to interfere. Oliveira Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Juliano Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Gastão Teves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Juliano Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliveira Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveira Neto in the 31st minute of play forced SC Malhadancha's goalkeeper Juliano Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juliano Trindade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Nascimento in the 35th minute of play. Joaquim Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Malhadancha booed when Campises was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Gastão Teves made the kick off in the second half. Viriato Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 56th minute, Viriato Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Joaquim Nascimento notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Malhadancha's Juliano Trindade. Juliano Trindade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Gastão Teves made a precise shot to the right of José Lisboa. Campises's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 77th minute, Joaquim Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gastão Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Oliveira Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Malhadancha's zone, Oliveira Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliano Trindade came out of the goal and Oliveira Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 minutes, Oliveira Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campises and the SC Malhadancha players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Campises getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Oliveira Neto hit a great ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Alcino Moniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campises's José Lisboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Malhadancha succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Campises had controlled the match.
