After some careless play in the Caroceiras FC defense, António Gueifão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregório Valentim. The Caroceiras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregório Valentim should have stopped the shot. António Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gregório Valentim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for munhos fc. Gregório Valentim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Prates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregório Valentim having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Gueifão got free with Gregório Valentim in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, António Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot. munhos fc's supporters rose to their feet, but António Gueifão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregório Valentim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélio Calçada charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélio Calçada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélio Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to munhos fc getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Micael Mendonça hit a great ball. Amílcar Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by António Gueifão got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 47th minute of the match, António Gueifão got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gregório Valentim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Hélio Calçada hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Danilo Prates made a precise shot to the right of Gregório Valentim. Caroceiras FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caroceiras FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Danilo Prates blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregório Valentim having to make a save. António Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Pinho during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregório Valentim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Prates in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Danilo Prates had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregório Valentim. Caroceiras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Prates was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Caroceiras FC's Gregório Valentim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Prates in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in munhos fc's zone, Amílcar Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Távora came out of the goal and Amílcar Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Danilo Prates came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the munhos fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Prates couldn't finish the play. The munhos fc players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
