Manuel Brás made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Jesus in the 3rd minute. Delfim Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Carlos Baptista's late challenge caught a Dare to Zlatan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes GIL FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Baptista. When David Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the GIL FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Coelho couldn't finish the play. After having played for 17 minutes, Gaspar Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GIL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Jesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If David Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Ricardo Coelho made a precise shot to the right of Marco Assis. GIL FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, David Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. GIL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Coelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Coelho hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Gaspar Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GIL FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, GIL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Cristiano Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marco Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Coelho to strike the kick off in the second half. If Viriato Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Brás read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Dare to Zlatan's goal looked a bit too open when David Coelho came free, but Manuel Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Monteiro took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Assis. Marco Assis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ricardo Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Coelho in the 89th minute of play forced Dare to Zlatan's goalkeeper Manuel Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
