Albertino Mansilha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alcino Parente hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Gustavo Festas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcísio Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Serafim Soveral notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Ousilhao's Tarcísio Nascimento. Tarcísio Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Albertino Mansilha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarcísio Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Festas in the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Festas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarcísio Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Ousilhao's goalkeeper Tarcísio Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gustavo Festas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Lavacolhos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Festas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcísio Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gustavo Festas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Lavacolhos's Serafim Soveral pulled a muscle in his back after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 41 minutes into the game, Afonso Vilalobos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Ousilhao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Lavacolhos the free kick. António Borges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The SC Ousilhao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Lavacolhos were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albertino Mansilha to strike the kick off in the second half. Albertino Mansilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. António Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Mansilha in the 59th minute of the match. SC Ousilhao's Tarcísio Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SC Ousilhao from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Festas might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tarcísio Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Festas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Lavacolhos's goalkeeper António Borges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Paiva during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Rodolfo Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ousilhao's zone, Alcino Parente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcísio Nascimento came out of the goal and Alcino Parente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
