Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Fontes started the match with the kick off. Jorge Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Aldaír Poças tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, SC Pilar's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Brás came free, but Hugo Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SC Madancos's Aldaír Poças got control of the ball when Pedro Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Catarino Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of SC Pilar booed when SC Madancos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Pedro Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Aldaír Poças. SC Madancos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. SC Madancos's Aldaír Poças proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save SC Madancos from getting a goal against them. Pedro Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Aldaír Poças made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Fontes during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes SC Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Fontes. After a rather tough play, SC Madancos's Gervásio Simões got a free kick in the 31st minute. Aldaír Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Catarino Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Pilar getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mariano Machado hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Pedro Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Valério Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Hugo Trindade made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Pedro Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldaír Poças was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute Pedro Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldaír Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, SC Pilar's Gonçalo Machado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldaír Poças narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to SC Madancos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gervásio Quental hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Pilar booed when SC Madancos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rodolfo Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Madancos's protests and gave Rodolfo Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Pereira hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes SC Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Machado. After a defensive mix-up in SC Madancos's zone, Pedro Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldaír Poças came out of the goal and Pedro Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Catarino Paiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldaír Poças read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When SC Pilar's Catarino Paiva in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Madancos's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valério Dantas during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valério Dantas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. SC Pilar's Pedro Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the SC Pilar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
