In the 14th minute, Lúcio Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vermum FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute Gualter Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Carlos Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, KAUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Valido to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Moreira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Eanes. KAUS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gualter Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualter Anjos to make the kick off. Teófilo Rijo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Carlos Eanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Cardoso went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Lúcio Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eanes having to interfere. Pedro Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Anjos in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gualter Anjos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Neto was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Bruno Raposo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlos Eanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lúcio Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teófilo Rijo in the 91st minute of the match. Pedro Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Anjos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vermum FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
