After 7 played minutes Cabecudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Aparício Bezerra. The long shot by Nezih Babacan in the 8th minute really tested Ilídio Vilhena's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nezih Babacan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ilídio Vilhena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nezih Babacan managed to get in a good position for a shot. forosterra's supporters rose to their feet, but Nezih Babacan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilídio Vilhena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Sebastião Simões dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilídio Vilhena, 1-0. Nezih Babacan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ilídio Vilhena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes in the game, Sebastião Simões fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ilídio Vilhena having to interfere. Nezih Babacan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilídio Vilhena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nezih Babacan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Sebastião Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilídio Vilhena was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 27th minute, Cabecudos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sebastião Simões fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 32nd minute, Sebastião Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Ilídio Vilhena managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when forosterra's Sebastião Simões fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sebastião Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Sebastião Simões got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 49th minute of the match, Sebastião Simões got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ilídio Vilhena was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ilídio Vilhena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Simões in the 55th minute of play. Ilídio Vilhena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Simões, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastião Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nezih Babacan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. After 76 minutes, Sebastião Simões made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cabecudos FC's Ilídio Vilhena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilídio Vilhena was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. forosterra had played much better football throughout.
