Fernando Simões charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hélder Álvares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Guerreiro in the 13th minute of the match. Hélder Álvares went to the wrong direction when Gustavo Gonçalves was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 18 played minutes SC Fuinhas got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Gentil. Vítor Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hélder Álvares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Daporta. Vítor Carneiro got in the 23rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hélder Álvares handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Viriato Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Maltez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Daporta getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vítor Gomes hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Vítor Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Álvares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Vítor Carneiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daporta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 46th minute, Vítor Carneiro made a precise shot to the right of Hélder Álvares. SC Fuinhas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Maltez to make the kick off. Celso Maltez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Maciel in the 52nd minute of play forced Daporta's goalkeeper Viriato Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celso Maltez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gustavo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes, SC Fuinhas's Pascoal Fagundes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viriato Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Fuinhas reached it. A collision led to SC Fuinhas getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Pascoal Fagundes hit a great ball. After some careless play in the SC Fuinhas defense, Fernando Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Álvares. The SC Fuinhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Álvares should have stopped the shot. Pascoal Fagundes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Gustavo Gonçalves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélder Álvares having to make a save. After having played for 87 minutes, Vítor Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daporta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Fuinhas's zone, Armando Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Álvares came out of the goal and Armando Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Vítor Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Hélder Álvares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 96 minutes, Vítor Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daporta and the SC Fuinhas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vítor Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Daporta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Fuinhas.
