Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Leiria started the match with the kick off. Bruno Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Dário Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fogueteiro FC's zone, Daniel Morais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Cardoso came out of the goal and Daniel Morais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Diogo Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Eivados FC's Daniel Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Dário Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fogueteiro FC booed when Eivados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Heitor Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Resende having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Eivados FC's goalkeeper Heitor Resende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Soares. After having played for 47 minutes, António Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fogueteiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Eivados FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dário Ramos to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Eivados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Leiria came free, but Heitor Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Eivados FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Soares came free, but Heitor Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dário Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dário Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Valido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Eivados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Leiria came free, but Heitor Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Resende having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dário Ramos in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Cardoso saved Fogueteiro FC from getting behind. Alexandre Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Dário Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Fogueteiro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Daniel Morais scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Cardoso, making the score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teófilo Vilas Boas during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Eivados FC got a freekick which was hit by Teófilo Vilas Boas. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Daniel Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eivados FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
