In the 5th match minute, SCbrandoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, José Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Vale. SCbrandoa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lucas Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. José Dantas took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Vale. Lucas Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Concetto Antonangeli's late challenge caught a SC Baioes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Antonangeli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, SCbrandoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Antonangeli to maneuver through the defense. SCbrandoa's Lucas Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Dantas in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of SC Baioes booed when SCbrandoa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

SCbrandoa's Lucas Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save SCbrandoa from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the SC Baioes defense, Bruno Coimbra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Gaspar. The SC Baioes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Gaspar should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Vítor Resende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Bruno Coimbra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Gaspar was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Lucas Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Lucas Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Dantas in the 93rd minute of play. SC Baioes played a much better game than SCbrandoa and deserved their victory. The SCbrandoa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
